FINEC TOURNAMENT
The University of Economics and Finances (FINEC) continues to produce pleasant surprises, which look especially nice against the background of stagnating chess life in other universities of our city. Everybody is already accustomed to FINEC teams playing in Russian Club championships (and the women's team wins medals in each event), and FINEC students winning medals in junior world championships. Now FINEC has organized a tournament with grandmaster norm. GMs Brodsky, Yevseev and Zagrebelny give a chance to fullfill the norm requirements to St. Petersburg juniors Vitiugov, Lanin, Matlakov, and Khairullin from Perm.
