ONE CAN'T DRINK AWAY THE SKILL
A museum of vodka history was opened yesterday in Izmailovsky Kremlin, Moscow. The high point of the opening was playing drunk chess, with vodka shots replacing traditional wooden pieces. The rules were simple - drink a shot after every capture on board. The crowd was very enthusiastic about a person in a Russian traditional dress, who gave a simul on 4 boards. He kept playing even though his opponents were changing constantly. As each shot was equal to 25 ml, there is no doubt about exceptional chess skill of this man. His last name is kept secret.
