V.Yemelin. Not expanding the track
In my opinion, the recent Dortmund tournament cannot boast about any global theoretical revelations. Crammers of the whole world can relax. Nevertheless, almost any game of the elite brings up a small opening finesse, and it is quite interesting to observe top grandmasters creating problems to each other outside the main theoretical roads. This article should be considered as a modest addition to my previously published article about the Dortmund.

Y.Razuvaev. Rubinstein Gambit
This is a chapter from the new book. I should bring my apologies to the reader in advance. The book was completed last year, thus some important games played this year are not included. However, chasing chess fashion is not very useful, although highly interesting occupation. An opening is like a city. One can explore it for a whole life and still be a stranger to it. I would like to quote a wise man David Bronstein, who commented the 7th game of the Spassky-Petrosian championship match (Moscow, 1966) as follows: "[Spassky] offered Petrosian to play in a backyard of the house where Petrosian grew up. " I hope that after reading this chapter you will be more familiar with labyrinth of the city named Akiba Rubinstein Gambit

A.Shashin. CHESS PLAN – FICTION OR REALITY? PART 2.
By discrediting chess plan, we also discredit the theory of positional game of Vilgelm Steinitz. It`s really so, but not the other way, as a chess plan is one of the pillars of this theory.

A.Shashin. CHESS PLAN – FICTION OR REALITY?
I`m starting to attack. The target is a chess plan. The purpose is the full-scale discredit of this chess idol. Briefly and definitely speaking there is no place for chess plan in the modern theory of chess game! Plan is a phantom, illusion. It is an unnecessary link in a chain of chess player reasoning in search of the strongest move. Chess plan is the tale for a child in chess, the tale with dubious merits...
