His classification turned out to be applicable to any field of creative work. “Jerusalem Journal” publishes the interview with Dmitry Sukharev’s titled “A different one has a right to be different” and conducted by the poetess Tatiana Beck.

04.11.2006 The school which Tal attended
Last year the secondary school No. 22 of Riga celebrated 60th anniversary of its foundation. It is the school which Mikhail Tal attended (true he completed his education in another school because of a conflict with a mathematics teacher). Among the pupils of the school No. 22 were: the journalists and writers Alexander Kaverznev, Peter Vail and George Tselms, the last chief of KGB Boris Pugo and also Mikhail Baryshnikov who left for the choreography school at an early age. A legend based on a tale by one of Tal’s classmates tells that the Eight World Champion’s chess career started at a football match that took place during a break. Misha was a goalkeeper and that classmate when scoring the goal accidentally kicked Tal on the head by an iron-shod army boot. “From then on Tal began to play chess as a genius” this is the way he concluded his historic recollection.
